Our destination for today is Cork. It is the Republic's second-largest city and a pleasant place in which to while away a day or so. The city has some fine Georgian buildings, the pubs are lively and the food is excellent. There's some great shopping to be had in Cork. The little streets and lanes north of St Patrick's Street are the most interesting..
